CareerEdit

Brian Tyler is well-known for his scores for motion pictures such as Brake, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Eagle Eye, The Expendables, Fast Five, Fast and Furious, Frailty, The Expendables 2, Law Abiding Citizen, Eagle Eye, The Lazarus Project, The Final Destination, Constantine, Now You See Me and Battle: Los Angeles. He has signed with Sony Music as a songwriter and often conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He was nominated for Film Composer of the Year by the International Film Music Critics Association. In 2010, Tyler was inducted into the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Tyler also scored the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. He recently arranged and conducted the new film logo music for Universal Pictures and composed a theme for the 100-year anniversary of the studio. Tyler's cues for Children of Dune were used in the theatrical trailers for Star Trek, Master and Commander, Sahara, Cinderella Man, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The track "Summon the Worms" from Children of Dune was used as a leader for the French show Peking Express, and in the first leaked promotional reel for The Golden Compass. A version of the track "War Begins" is used in the first full-length theatrical trailer of Star Trek. Tyler has stated that his score for the independent thriller Brake, which included sounds from car parts alongside guitar, drums and piano, has become quite popular, and clients have asked him to tap into the music he used for Brake.

RamboEdit

He composed the Rambo IV soundtrack, succeeding Jerry Goldsmith as the main composer for the Rambo film series. His work recieved a positive reception, mainly for combining the somber, tragic music of First Blood with the oriental, action driven score of the second and third films, along with new themes and beats for an entirely new sountrack.
